This job involves managing a tool room in a naval aviation repair facility, where you'll oversee tool programs, ensure everything runs smoothly, and support teams by handling equipment needs and training staff.

You'll help keep tools safe and efficient for aircraft maintenance work.
You will serve as a TOOL ROOM SPECIALIST in the INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION SUPPORT DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing administrative and technical support; 2) Organizing and analyzing statistical data to identify areas requiring program adjustments/modifications; 3) Maintaining a working relationship with personnel in other Divisions and Departments, as well as establishing contacts with other depots, Naval Air Systems Command, and manufacturers of required data processing; 4) Planning workload to be accomplished by subordinates, setting priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work; and 5) Identifying developmental and training needs of employees.
