This job involves planning and leading fun recreational activities, special events, and community programs to help students at a vocational center build social skills, stay engaged, and improve their well-being.
You'll supervise students during on-campus and off-campus activities, ensure safety, and work with a team to support their daily needs.

As a Therapeutic Activities Aide, you will provide leadership and guidance for students participating in recreational and therapeutic activities on campus and in the community.
You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing group programs, special events, and athletic activities that promote social interaction, skill development, and student engagement.
You will be expected to ensure safety in all program areas by monitoring behavior, instructing students on the proper use of equipment, and coordinating transportation and supervision for off-campus trips.
You will also have the opportunity to encourage participation through problem-solving support and social skills development. Additional responsibilities include:
