Under the supervision of the Associate Director, this temporary, part-time position administers a complex range of examinations, including college admissions and placement tests such as the MTC Placement Exam, course exams, METRO Pesticide Exams, typing tests, independent proctoring exams, and WorkKeys assessments.

The Test Administrator monitors testing sessions and provides testing-related services to faculty, staff, students, and the broader college community, both on and off campus.

Responsibilities also include maintaining the confidentiality of student data, assisting with general office coverage, advising students on testing-related matters, preparing reports as required, and performing other duties as assigned.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, technically savvy, reliable, and able to work effectively with the public.


This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Beltline Campus.

Requirements

  • Associate degree with three (3) years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with (5) five years of relevant experience in an office environment.
  • Employee must have strong computer technical skills and be proficient In word processing and spreadsheets, with the expectation to acquire additional computer skills on the job.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and complex administrate actives, and maintain accurate confidential records.
  • Requires good Interpersonal skills and ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and visitors.
  • Employee must have the ability to exercise good judgment and discretion and establish and maintain effecting working relationships.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

Advanced technical skills and previous test administration experience. Should have office administrative skills.
