This temporary job as a park ranger at Lory State Park involves patrolling outdoor areas, educating visitors, enforcing park rules, and handling daily operations like collecting fees and maintaining facilities.
It's a hands-on role working in all weather conditions, responding to emergencies, and providing customer service to ensure safe and enjoyable experiences for park users.
A good fit would be someone who enjoys the outdoors, has strong people skills, and is reliable for seasonal work up to nine months.

Pursuant to the DNR-120 Fleet and Driving Standards Administrative Directive, any worker who will be expected to drive a State-owned vehicle is responsible for maintaining a safe driving record and a valid driver's license prior to driving any State-owned vehicle.
