About Our Agency:South Carolina ETV (SCETV) is the state's public educational broadcasting network. SCETV amplifies South Carolina voices, provides educational experiences and strengthens communities, while working to create a stronger, more connected and informed South Carolina. SCETV provides national and local content to classrooms via internet services
Knowitall.org and PBS Learning Media. SCETV also provides teacher training and re-certification in face-to-face and online settings.
Job Purpose:This position will maintain the agency’s tower properties by providing routine grounds and maintenance to include, but not limited to operating heavy equipment.
Job Duties: Operates a 55 HP John Deere tractor with bush hog maintaining SCETV tower properties around the state. Use of a dump trailer for hauling materials such as rock, dirt, soil, construction materials, and debris as needed. Repairs potholes, and driveways and also assist the maintenance crew on an as-needed basis.
Use of hand tools such as a shovel, pick, rake, chain saw, zero turn lawn mower, weed eater, and blower to maintain the property. Performs manual labor in the performance of hedge trimming, blowing, grass cutting, and weed eating.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Experience in tractor and bush operation, general maintenance of equipment, and lawn care. A valid South Carolina driver's license is required with a clean driving record.

Driving Record: If this position requires the applicant to possess a valid driver's license to operate a state vehicle or personal vehicle, any applicant being considered in the final stages of selection for the position will be required to provide a certified copy of a 10-year driving record.
