Requirements

Colorado Parks and Wildlife is seeking applicants for part time temporary positions for
customer service representatives.

A customer service-based position that provides information and handles all aspects of product sales to customers while providing support to the staff. Daily interaction with customers requires effective communication and public relations skills, as well as articulate dissemination of verbal and written information. Specific duties include but are not limited to:
  • Work directly with internal and external customers in person, on the phone, and via email.
  • Sell park passes, hunting/fishing licenses, OHV/boat registrations, and associated permits.
  • Answer technical questions about State Parks, hunting and fishing regulations, and the Big Game draw process.
  • Answer incoming calls, handle in-person inquiries, and/or direct them to appropriate staff.
  • Receive, process, and file big game license returns.
  • Data entry within Google Suite.
  • Check voicemail box and return calls daily.
  • Monitor patrol radios, relay messages, and dispatch to staff.
  • Daily cleaning and stocking of front counters, shelves, brochure racks, retail displays, and personal workstations.
  • Perform Mandatory checks of required species such as bears, mountain lions, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, and bobcats on an as-needed basis.
  • Chronic Wasting Disease sample collection.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

Possess strong interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written) to deliver excellent customer service.Previous experience handling money and working with the public required.Proficiency in Google and Microsoft based computer applications required.Must be able to effectively multitask and pay attention to detail.Must be 18 years of age or older.Must be willing and able to work 40 hours per week as applicable.
