Full Job Description

These are non-merit, temporary positions. Candidates must follow the instructions in the "To Apply" section. Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Human Resources Enterprise.


The Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System (IPERS) is seeking candidates to support the Member Call Center.

This role involves assisting IPERS members over the phone with questions about accessing their member self-service accounts, as well as performing general clerical duties to support the Division.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills.

The position requires working 30-40 hours per week, with schedules from Monday to Friday between 7:30 a.m.. and 5:30 p.m.

Flexible hours and/or remote work is available after a short training period

Candidates must successfully pass a background check.

Applicants must reside in Iowa upon hire
