Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing secure communication systems for the Navy's Military Sealift Command, including handling sensitive materials, advising on equipment use, and ensuring smooth operations for fleet and shore teams.

You will serve as a TELECOMMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST in the COMMUNICATIONS SECURITY BRANCH (N642) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience serving as a COSMEC Alternate Account Manager responsible for managing, planning, implementation, and operations of secure communication systems supporting fleet and shore components.
Experience implementing policies, procedures and instructions for the administration. oversight and management of COMSEC material assigned to Local Elements.
Experience determining operational capabilities based on the cryptographic equipment manuals and communication security policies, using problem-solving rules, procedures, techniques, and methods.
Experience with the policies and procedures to manage the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) system.
Experience interacting with customers to full fill COSMEC management requirements associated with logistics, handling, distribution, destruction, and reporting of COSMEC material.
