Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves providing hands-on technical support for secure communication and encryption systems used by the U.S.
Navy, including troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining these systems to ensure they work reliably.
A good fit would be someone with experience in electronics and radio systems who enjoys solving complex technical problems, leading small teams, and working closely with military or government clients.
It's ideal for detail-oriented technicians who can handle sensitive security equipment in a structured environment.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NR pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advanced, practical knowledge and experience in providing technical support for U.S. Navy Secure Voice and Cryptographic Systems.
The candidate must be proficient in electronic theory, C4ISR systems to include radio frequency systems, and possess the ability to lead technical teams, manage complex projects, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
