Job Description

Summary

This job involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing military ordnance components and equipment, such as containers and related systems, using electronic tools to diagnose issues and ensure everything works reliably.

For the NT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-02 or grade level (GS-5 through GS-8 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector troubleshooting ordnance containers and components operationality through the utilization of electronics tools and techniques to diagnose and implement maintenance and repairs compliant with existing procedures and identify procedural shortfalls to improve ordnance system reliability.

For the NT-02: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-01 or grade level (GS-1 through GS-04 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying electronics techniques to the maintenance of ordnance containers or components through the utilization of electronics tools and techniques to implement maintenance or repair existing procedures.

  • You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, utilizing test and measurement equipment to determine the operational status and serviceability of components.
  • You will analyze test results, and assist in identifying root causes of malfunctions, and implement effective corrective actions, adjustments, or repairs.
  • You will interpret technical documentation and initiate reports.
