This job involves leading a team as a site lead for testing and evaluating undersea warfare systems, like those used in naval operations, including troubleshooting issues, recommending improvements, and managing projects to ensure systems are reliable and effective.
It's a hands-on technical role in a government setting focused on defense technology.

You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the Fleet Warfighting Readiness/Operations Division of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA, as a Site Lead.
Salary Range: San Diego: $121,585 - 186,785 Port Angeles, WA: $119,630 - $183,782 The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions.
This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $158,062 for San Diego, CA & $155,521 for Port Angeles, WA).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS 11/12 equivalency), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying electro-mechanical theory and engineering principles to conduct test and evaluation assessments for the development of undersea systems.
