Full Job Description

You will serve as a Technician in the Combat Systems Test and Eval Department C00 of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Port Hueneme, CA: $124,085 - $190,627; Virginia Beach, VA: $108,019 - $165,945 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector directing the test and evaluation lifecycle for major combat systems to manage technical projects, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and analyze system performance against strategic objectives for purpose of validating warfighting capabilities and ensuring the operational effectiveness of naval defense platforms.

  • You will manage the full range of test planning, test execution, analysis and reporting activities.
  • You will develop and oversee funding requirements for all supporting organizations.

  • You will collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts across organizations in order to develop solutions and accomplish program goals.
  • You will lead project teams, establishing goals, planning and assigning work in coordination with organizational leads, and tracking progress to meet deadlines.
  • You will identify and analyze problems; perform technical studies and evaluations; weigh relevance and accuracy of information; generate and evaluate alternative solutions; make timely recommendations, based on potential implications of findings.
