Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

As the Technical Training Consultant for the Unemployment Insurance Customer Service (UICS), division and as a member of the Training Team, you will plan, design, develop, implement, and deliver specialized technical IT systems training and instructional programs using instructor-led, train-the-trainer, electronic/web-based, e-learning, and multimedia training methods and formats.
This full-time/permanent Technical Training Consultant role is primarily telework; however, you may need to report to the office for occasional meetings or special events.
In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to develop training content that aligns with adult learning principles and best practices.
You will help transform content into engaging eLearning modules and work closely with the training team and UICS leadership to prepare eLearning materials, videos, and other training resources that align with state laws and operational policies.

Option 1:
Nine (9) years of experience developing and delivering trainings. Which should include two years of experience related to technical IT training.
Option 2:
Associate’s degree with focus on business, human resources, computer science, adult education or related field, AND Seven (7) years of experience developing and delivering training which should include two years of experience related to technical IT training.
Option 3:
Bachelor’s Degree with focus on business, human resources, computer science, adult education or related field AND Five (5) years of experience developing and delivering training which should include two years of experience related to technical IT training.
