Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role involves leading large-scale research, development, testing, and engineering projects to advance the Navy's technology in facilities and expeditionary equipment, while managing teams and resources to ensure long-term innovation and efficiency.

The position requires overseeing strategic planning, policy development, and collaboration with government agencies to align technology with defense needs.
You will serve as the Technical Director for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC).
You will exercise the highest degree of technical and managerial knowledge, to direct, plan, execute and coordinate broad, large-scale, critical research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) and engineering activities focused on advancing the Navy's technological base in specialized facilities engineering and life cycle management of expeditionary equipment.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs): Your resume should demonstrate accomplishments that would satisfy the technical qualifications: TQ#1: Experience with Navy Working Capital Fund in a research and development environment in a shore facilities, and/or ocean facilities/equipment, and expeditionary domains.
TQ#2: Knowledge of an installation environment and in-service support in shore facilities, and/or ocean facilities/equipment, and expeditionary domains.
