Job Description

Summary

This job involves managing and analyzing databases for naval electromagnetic warfare, ensuring accurate intelligence on threats and forces by integrating data from various sources and overseeing quality checks.

It requires working with classified information, developing tools and reports, and collaborating with agencies to keep everything up-to-date.

A good fit would be someone with experience in intelligence analysis, database handling, and clear communication skills, ideally from a military or technical background.

Key Requirements

Full Job Description

You will serve as a TACTICAL DATABASE ANALYSIS SPECIALIST in the ELECTROMAGNETIC WARFARE DATABASE DIRECTORATE of NAVINFOWARDEVCEN NORFOLK.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting, evaluating, and integrating intelligence information from different sources.

Comprehending physical security instruction relevant to receipt, handling, and shipment of classified information.

Performing database development, maintenance, administration procedures and specific computer systems.

Communicating orally and in writing to prepare briefings and participate in meetings and conferences.

  • You will oversee the work production for personnel in maintenance, Information Operations (IO) signals and Order of Battle (OOB) analysis, data conflict resolution and Quality Assurance (QA).
  • You will collect, review interpret, evaluate, and integrate all source intelligence products for information pertinent to maintaining currency and accuracy of threat and own force data.
  • You will perform research and development of QA processes, IO analysis, Navy Information Operations Database (NIODB) QA administration, and derivative database and product development and QA verification task.
  • You will create detailed technical papers recommending and describing QA processes that with ensure development of intuitive, precise, user friendly, easily integrated, web enabled tools, and reports.
  • You will maintain liaison with national, military, scientific, technical and intelligence agencies to perform duties and to ensure professional knowledge and expertise.
