Full Job Description

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Strategic Effects Deputy of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE GROUP EIGHT.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Extensive knowledge managing highly complex strategic effects in support of sensitive operations, actions, and activities (SOAA).

Incumbent manages development, planning, technology, integration, and approvals of strategic effects at the highest level of federal service; and is responsible for providing supervision of a highly focused team leveraging programs and authorities of other DOD agency and Intelligence Community (IC) partners.

  • You will regularly develop and manage highly complex strategic effects in support of sensitive operations, actions, and activities (SOAA).
  • You will develop and lead cross-functional, multi-discipline integrated planning teams consisting of a diverse civilian and military team from multiple organizations in order to provide refined concepts and solutions.
  • You will regularly, review and conduct feasibility assessments of highly classified programs, and works with operational units to source solutions to maritime operational requirements.
  • You will serve as a recognized authority on the analysis and evaluation of highly classified compartmented programs and issues when provided only broad, general administrative or policy direction.
  • You will determine objectives that need additional emphasis; plan and assign work to be accomplished by subordinates based on priorities, consideration of the difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of subordinates.
  • You will provide technical oversight at a multicompartment highly classified level for the work performed by subordinate civilian and military members.
