About the position: This position is located at RAF Croughton, United Kingdom. This position requires a valid driver's license. This is a drug testing designated position.
This position requires standing, stooping, bending and lifting of items up to 40 pounds. A physical and lift test is required for this position. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Permanent and legal residents of the US must be citizens of a NATO country, unless authorized to reside in the UK as a dependent of an employee who serves in support of the US Visiting Forces.
Eligible applicants must possess a US-issued social security number and be able to provide documentation proving residency status in the UK. Documentation could include PCS Orders, UK Visa, etc.
Applicants cannot be 'ordinarily resident'.
A person is considered to be 'ordinarily resident' if they have resided in the United Kingdom (UK) for more than 366 days without an affiliation to the US Visiting Forces.
Time spent in the UK as an employee, or dependent of an employee, of a US agency serving and supporting the US Visiting Forces (i.e., active duty military, federal civilian, AAFES, Red Cross, one of the contract universities, a military banking facility or federal credit union, or US government contractors) is not counted toward being 'ordinary resident'.
In accordance with the Status of Forces Agreement between the US and the UK, British citizens (including UK dual citizens) may not apply for US NAF positions; however, they may be eligible to apply for local national positions on base.
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience (MUST BE SUPPORTED IN RESUME): Progressively responsible experience in supply work which provided knowledge of rules, regulations, procedures, and program requirements of the local supply organization and the organizations serviced.
Knowledge of supply inventory and accountability procedures and regulations.
Experience must have been sufficiently demanding to demonstrate the ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve supply problems and/or deviations from normal supply management procedures or program requirements.
Knowledge and ability to perform a range of standard clerical assignments and to resolve recurring problems. Typing skills are required. Ability to communicate orally and in writing Major Duties:
Manages expendable and nonexpendable supply equipment items through stock control, requisitioning, delivery and inventory control.
Maintains material safety data sheets (MSDS) on all chemical solutions stocked.
Establishes and maintains minimum stock levels of all expendable supplies and amenities to assure adequate inventory of items to prevent work stoppage.
Determines quantities required and timely stock replenishment and rotation by use of experienced judgment, historical data, occupancy and utilization. are used before expiration dates.
Salvages broken or obsolete supplies and equipment according to applicable directives and policies.
Maintains an accurate accounting and reporting system for nonexpendable property and performs routine phases of property management according to established policies and procedures.
Manages the Fixed Assets for the Squadron. As required, picks up various supply documents from warehouse office/remote terminals.
Maintains and catalogs files of items, description patterns, reference groups, military standards, specifications, cataloging manuals, and/or other cataloging tools providing for up-to-date information and easy retrieval without undue delays.
Ensures maintenance and preventive maintenance are performed on all warehousing equipment and tools.
Additional duties assigned to this position: Vehicle Control Officer, Automatic External Defibrillator coordinator, Safety representative, HAZMAT manager, Cyberspace Infrastructure Planning System (CIPS) manager.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
