Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing supplies and equipment for a naval training center, including ordering, receiving, storing, and tracking items while handling government credit card purchases and driving vehicles for transport.
It's a hands-on role focused on keeping inventory accurate and resolving supply issues efficiently.
A good fit would be someone with experience in logistics or inventory management who is detail-oriented, comfortable with computers, and has a valid driver's license for operating government trucks.
You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (MVO) in the Training Support Department of NAVAL AIR TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTER.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using various types of software applications to track items and prepare reports, as well as automated supply databases to enter, retrieve, and correct data; 2) Conducting extensive and exhaustive research for supply acquisition information and to reconstruct records; 3) Maintaining inventory by ensuring proper procurement, receipt, and verification of items within command; and 4) Adhering to credit card regulations to resolve issues with vendors/suppliers and maintain credit and purchasing files for tracking, auditing, and correcting discrepancies.
