Summary

Key Requirements

Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (HAZARDOUS MATERIALS) in the Electronic Attack Wing, of COMMANDER ELEC ATTACK WING PAC FLEET.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing supply ordering, record keeping, and distribution in support of a Hazardous Materials program to ensure proper safety rules and regulation compliance.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

  • You will maintain the Hazardous Substance Management System/Hazardous Inventory Control System and conduct initial and refresher training.
  • You will maintain accurate inventory records and establish appropriate stock levels.
  • You will maintain manual and mechanized databases and prepare reports.
  • You will maintain an accurate and up to date "Authorized User" list.
  • You will be responsible for the HAZMAT program for the command.
  • You will ensure all safety and environmental instructions are in compliance.
  • You will provide training on HAZMAT handling and storage.
  • You will prepare complex environmental reports incorporating data from a number of sources, performing mathematical computations, and conducting research to validate accuracy of data collected.
