Job Description

Summary

This job involves managing supplies and inventory for a naval fleet operation, including ordering items, reviewing requests, and fixing inventory issues to support production and repairs.

Key Requirements

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing supply support services to include procurement and local management of inventory items for fleet industrial operations.

  • You will work closely with the logistics branch for help in ordering and maintaining inventories of all supply items used in the command.
  • You will perform technical review and evaluation of customer requests for equipment and material or services.
  • You will investigate inventory problem areas to determine and implement corrective action for customer supply requests.
  • You will review and implement procedures to satisfy new requirements, regulations, or policies surrounding inventory management.
  • You will be responsible for local management of material to include procurement of all HAZMAT and supply support for the production and repair operations.
