This job involves managing supplies, inventory, and property for the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, including overseeing a warehouse, handling office moves, and supervising a small team of support staff.

Responsible for reviewing and responding to Labor Service Manager requests. Responsible for reviewing agency move spreadsheets and providing solutions to move requests. Redirect customers as needed.
Oversees the activities of a central receiving distribution and storage warehouse. Prepares and administers operating request. Calculates cost and depreciation for federal and state property.
Coordinates the disposal of surplus property. Develops and disseminates manuals and other correspondence pertaining to inventory control and property management.
maintains work schedules, supervise staff in support services, responsible for evaluations, approving time. Responsible for record management.
Responsible for providing light or heavy manual labor as required for relocating Department office furniture items locally and around the state.
Perform installation of furniture items to include but not limited to hanging wall items, installing desk accessories, and installing building items which has Department responsibility.
Performs fundamental supervisory and leadership functions in accordance with Department policies and procedures, best practices and Federal and State rules and regulations, especially with regard to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) standards.
Maintains an effective organizational team and motivates diverse staff to accomplish mission critical operations and objectives.
Promotes workforce engagement and a safe, professional, and productive work environment for all employees.
