Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves overseeing fuel storage, distribution, and maintenance operations at a Navy support facility, including monitoring contractor performance and ensuring projects run smoothly.
It requires making decisions on petroleum operations and providing guidance on fuel policies to keep everything efficient and safe.
A good fit would be someone with experience in logistics or supply chain management, especially in government or military settings, who enjoys problem-solving and working with contracts.
You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST for US NAVY SUPPORT FACILITY DIEGO GARCIA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting programs and procedures relative to fuel distribution, handling, and storage facilities, and contractor performance.
Planning and executing fuel facilities projects using the Navy's shore facilities planning system, contract management practices, and funding procedural controls.
Resolving fuel issues with conflicting program requirements and review supply programs for adequacy, efficiency, and identifying processes in need of improvement.
Interpreting contract provisions and clauses related to contractor performance to execute ACOR responsibilities and advise Contracting Officers on the progress of fuel distribution operations and facilities projects.

Additional Information: PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ).
