Job Description
Summary
This part-time, temporary role involves a nursing instructor working inside college classes that nursing students often struggle with, stepping in to provide extra help during lessons and setting up one-on-one or small group sessions to explain tough concepts and build critical thinking skills for nursing.
It's ideal for experienced nurses who enjoy teaching and supporting students to succeed in their programs.
The position is based at Piedmont Technical College in South Carolina and focuses on improving student outcomes in key courses.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in nursing instruction or education (preferred)
- Ability to intervene and provide additional assistance to students in classroom settings

Full Job Description
The Supplemental Nursing Instructor will be embedded into courses with historically low success rates that are central to the completion of the nursing programs offered by the college. The Instructor will have the opportunity to intervene when students require additional assistance. The instructor will be a part of the classroom dynamics and will set up meeting times one on one or with small groups to assist in clarifying challenging topics and assisting students with learning how to critically think as a nurse.Requirements
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.Qualifications
