Attend supplemental instruction trainings and meetings.
Prepare weekly lesson plans for SI labs.
The minimum requirements for this position are completion of college level math courses with exceptional outcomes or a college degree. Experience in tutoring or academic support strongly desired. Preferential consideration may be given to current York Technical College students.
Demonstrated competence in mathematics, determined by course grade and references.
General knowledge of course management and Microsoft application software.Knowledge of Excel is required for MAT 120.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to explain concepts to others.
Capacity to work with students with diverse backgrounds. Ability to work flexible hours.
