Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team that handles the shipping, storage, and management of household goods and personal vehicles for military and civilian personnel in the southeastern U.S.
and some overseas locations. The role includes overseeing budgets, ensuring quality control, and representing the agency at meetings and conferences.

You will serve as a Supervisory Traffic Management Specialist of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing and administering the Household Goods Program for Navy Personal Property Program Office (PPPO) support in the Southeast Region and Joint Personal Property Support Office (JPPSO) for Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, and South Carolina, Tennessee, Guantanamo Bay Cuba and Andros Island Bahamas that provides a full range of centralized personal property services to military and Department of Defense (DOD) civilian personnel.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Responsible for oversight of all functions involved in shipping, receiving and storing personal property and privately-owned vehicles which includes but is not limited to functional responsibility for entitlements, outbound, non-temporary storage (NTS), inbound, inspection, claims and quality assurance.
2) Budgeting for the operations of the Household Goods Division for both labor and non-labor requirements and for ensuring that staffing levels and operations are conducted within authorized funding levels.
3) Performing a variety of special projects as the designated project officer such as completing tasks involving recommendations and input for higher headquarters.
4) Representing FLCJ and the Southeast Region at transportation related conferences as the personal property subject matter expert and 5) Serving as the Alternate Contracting Officer's Representative (ACOR) for the Defense Property Management (DPM)contract, serving on higher level special traffic management teams/committees, attending Command meetings and higher level conferences, coordinating responses for requested information (i.e., Congressional inquiries, Freedom of Information Act requests, etc.).
