Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to manage supplies and logistics at a naval base in Cuba, including handling inventory, warehousing, transportation, and hazardous materials to support military operations.
You'll oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with rules, and make decisions to keep things running smoothly.
It's a good fit for someone with experience in supply chain management who enjoys supervising others in a structured, government environment.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Naval Supply Systems Command of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized Experience must include: 1) Providing Technical Management support and direction in property management, inventory management, hazardous material management, and/ or quality assurance/control.
2) Implementing supply policies, procedures, management practices, rules regulations and principles to administer daily logistics and supply system operations.
3) Preparing budget forecasting and input for organizational operation budget. 4) Analyzing metrics and operations to resolve difficult issues and problems in the assigned area of responsibilities.
