This position is part of the Agency Force Protection, Government Publishing Office in Washington, District of Columbia.
To qualify for the Supervisory Security Specialist, PG - 0080 - 15 , you must have one year of specialized experience at the PG-14 or equivalent.
Specialized experience includes the following: Applying laws, regulations, and policies to mitigate security risks. Identifying measures to correct security deficiencies.
Managing teams' day-to-day work and personnel actions. Developing policies for physical, personnel, or information security practices.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement (03/06/2026) to be considered.
