Base salary range: $37,764 - $49,094
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-5. Bachelor's degree + some experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of security guards to protect naval facilities, equipment, and sensitive information from threats, while managing daily operations, training, and inspections to maintain a secure environment.
A good fit would be someone with prior supervisory experience in security roles, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to following safety protocols in a military or high-stakes setting.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY GUARD in the NAVAL AVIATION WARFIGHTING DEVELOPMENT CENTER (NAWDC) of NAVAVNWARDEVCEN.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing assistance in the development and maintenance of physical security programs and procedures to ensure the protection of personnel, facilities and classified information or sensitive materials against criminal or hostile activities.
