Summary

This job involves leading a small team of 3-12 staff members at a fitness facility on a military base, where you'll assign tasks, manage schedules, evaluate performance, and help run recreational programs.

  • Six months of customer service experience (or administrative/bookkeeping experience as alternative for best qualified)

Full Job Description

This position is located at the Physical Fitness Facilities. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered Best Qualified: -Possess six (6) months Lead and/or Supervisor experience and six (6) months Customer Service experience.

OR Possess six (6) months Lead and/or Supervisor experience and six (6) months Administrative or Bookkeeping experience.

In order to be considered Best Qualified, your resume must show that you meet the minimum qualifications, and one (1) of the two (2) Best Qualified criteria (must be supported by resume and/or supporting documentation uploaded with application).

Major Duties:

  • Supervises a staff of 3-12 employees, assigns and reviews work assignments on a daily, weekly, or longer basis.
  • Plans work schedules, approves or disapproves leave, determines performance objectives and rates performance.
  • Serves as a recreation assistant in support of recreational activities applying a practical knowledge or recreational activities and skills in the use of recreational materials and facilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
