Job Description

Summary

This supervisory role at the Defense Intelligence Agency involves leading teams to plan and execute programs that support national defense intelligence missions, while overcoming challenges and improving processes based on feedback.

It requires strong leadership to build team cohesion and excellent communication skills to explain complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.

Ideal candidates are experienced managers from government or intelligence backgrounds who excel at innovation, resource management, and using data to measure success.

Key Requirements

  • Ability to identify resources and constraints, develop plans to utilize them effectively, and overcome obstacles
  • Experience anticipating best practices, advancing organizational goals, and using client feedback to improve products and services
  • Polished oral and written communication skills for creating and delivering presentations on complex issues to varied audiences
  • Innovative approaches to gather feedback, enhance skills, and improve processes, products, and services
  • Leadership in promoting team cohesiveness by defining roles, responsibilities, and establishing objectives
  • Knowledge of Federal and/or Intelligence Community oversight missions and goals (highly desired)
  • Experience managing editorial and production lifecycles for high-visibility publications and technical standards (highly desired)

Promotes cohesiveness of a team by defining roles and responsibilities of each team member and establishing overall objectives. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1.

Experience with or knowledge of Federal and/or Intelligence Community oversight missions and goals. 2.

Experience managing the editorial and production lifecycle for high-visibility publications and technical standards. 3.
