Full Job Description

This position is in the Office of Water, Office of Wastewater Management, Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) Division, Portfolio Management Branch.

About: The Office of Water This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.

To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time specialized experience equivalent to at least theGS-14 level defined as leading or overseeing initiatives and portfolio/loan programs from development through implementation; and coaching, mentoring, or leading a team of professional or administrative staff.

You will be assessed on the following competencies: Leadership. Managing Employees. Program/Project Management/Evaluation. Database Management Systems. Financial Management and Analysis.

Risk Management. Written Communication. Influencing/Negotiating.

You will: Perform supervisory personnel management responsibilities to ensure work is accomplished.

Direct programmatic activities and development to effectively meet established goals, including wastewater infrastructure projects.

Oversee loan project portfolio and advise on existing finance, including restructure, of critical water infrastructure projects.

Provide advice and assistance to internal and external environmental stakeholders and leaders of wastewater communities.

You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
