Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of nuclear engineers in testing and maintaining reactor systems on naval ships at a shipyard in Guam, ensuring everything runs safely and on schedule.
You'll supervise daily operations, plan tests, and solve technical problems to keep the fleet operational.
It's a great fit for experienced nuclear engineers with supervisory skills and a background in shipyard testing who thrive in high-stakes, team-based environments.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER in the Guam Detachment Naval Shipyard of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Candidate must have extensive experience as a Shift Test Supervisor and must be a currently qualified Shift Test Engineer.Candidate must have significant experience in work controls, retest, and systems testing.
Candidate must have experience in resolving waterfront issues and experience in working with Ships Force and Shipyard technical codes/shops.
