Full Job Description

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia.

Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position.

To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: · Provide recommendations on human resources management projects.

· Conduct studies to identify and analyze human resources problems. · Provide consultation to management on recruitment, performance management, and administrative policies and procedures.

· Lead junior-level specialists within a designated human capital portfolio by assigning work and reviewing completed products for accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will use your knowledge of and experience with ACF to optimize business results and customer experience by: Serves as project manager for complex human capital initiatives; plans, designs, implements, and evaluates projects; develops milestones, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics; and ensures alignment with organizational priorities.

Designs and conducts studies to identify, analyze, and resolve human capital and administrative problems; evaluates business processes and program performance; develops data-driven recommendations; and assesses impact on mission delivery.

Advises management on recruitment, performance management, administrative policies, and procedural improvements; formulates or revises policies; evaluates impact of proposed changes; and ensures compliance with governing laws and regulations.

Plans and assigns work to junior specialists; sets priorities; establishes performance expectations; reviews completed work for technical accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives; provides feedback; and resolves work-related issues.
