About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f.

Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25.

This position is located at the Fort Gordon, Georgia. CYBER EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITIONS ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THE TWO-PAGE RESUME LIMIT.

Generating organizational planning documents such as (Basis of Issue Plans (BOIPs), Base and Objective Tables of Organization and Equipment (TOEs), Mission profile, and Operational Mode Summaries) that result in force designs that support new concepts and operational ; 3.

Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, present findings, and facilitate discussions that enhance understanding and support for force management initiatives; and 4.

Analyzing current and emerging threats to inform the Cyber, Electromagnetic Warfare, and Signal force designs, contributing to the development of capabilities that address identified gaps and enhance overall mission readiness.

Major Duties:

  • Provides team building, technical skill, and administrative procedures.
  • Manages employee performance, awards, disciplinary actions, and annual evaluations for the command.
  • Communicates clear task assignments, project requirements, milestones, and deadlines for employees.
  • Recommends improvements to Cyber Electromagnetic Warfare (EW)/Signal structure to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and responsiveness.
  • Evaluates tactical and operational concepts to improve strategic decision making for organization.
  • Leads working groups, teams, panels, and committees focused on Cyber/Electromagnetic Warfare (EW)/Signal force structure requirements.
  • Conducts site visits to provide technical assistance and evaluates organizational effectiveness by identifying requirements for change.
  • Participates in committees and panels to address complex problems affecting program accomplishments.
  • Evaluates developmental material task for compliance with established combat development documents.
  • Contributes to the development of Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP) by reviewing organizational input and personnel requirements.
