This job involves leading logistics and supply support for Navy fleet operations at a center in Washington state, including planning material movements, managing inventory, and overseeing funding for ship-related projects.

You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Operations Department of Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Logistics expertise is needed for this job.
Candidate skilled in the Logistics Specialist (LS) rating in the Navy is needed for a new employee to be successful in this position on their first day.
The knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management, material expediting, inventory control, GCPC background, HAZMAT management, Knowledge of the logistics process and material movements for various navy ship platforms (CVN, SSBN, SSGN, DDG, etc.), experience in providing husbanding and pier-side support, Depot Level Repairable Management, and knowledgeable in the Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) process.
