Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of legal support staff in a U.S.
Attorney's Office, where you'll oversee daily operations, assign tasks based on case needs, and ensure efficient handling of complex legal evidence and documents.

GS-12: To be eligible at the GS-12 level, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service as defined below.
Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following types of duties: assisting attorneys in preparing for voluminous litigation support assignments (i.e., organizing case information, scanning and indexing documents, etc.); conducting research, analysis and evaluation of data in response to case-specific legal matters; composing legal briefs, summaries of analyses and decisions, and trial preparation; and mentoring and/or providing training to support legal staff.
Major Duties:
If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for Supervisory Legal Administrative Specialist.
Typical work assignments will include: Responsible for supervising and directing the day-to-day operations of the legal support staff Assigns legal support staff to substantive areas of practice based on case type, volume, and complexity Analyzes and recommends a variety of litigation support software necessary to present complex and voluminous case evidence Applies knowledge of Federal Criminal and Civil procedures to assist in determining necessary staffing and technical needs of the case.
Provides technical advice to litigation teams based on an assessment of the investigative trial and projected case needs Evaluates legal support for staff operations and effectiveness and implements changes to bring about increased efficiencies where needed.
