This job involves leading a team to manage and maintain the computer networks that support education, training, and daily operations at the U.S. Naval Academy.
You'll oversee hardware and software setups, plan and run IT projects, and ensure everything follows security rules while guiding your staff's growth.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK) in the SYSTEMS AND COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT of the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES DIVISION (ITSD) of UNITED STATESNAVAL ACADEMY.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintain hardware and software including all associated distribution, routing, and switching capabilities to include data center and distribution room infrastructures; 2) Manages the development of a formal written project plan that includes a plan of action and milestones, scope and effect statements, coordination and integration efforts; 3) Assign duties to best meet organizational needs while fostering employee career development; and 4) Ensures application of information security, information assurance, and administration policies, principles, and practices adhere to the network administration process.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
