Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team to run prevention programs that help stop harmful behaviors and build a positive environment in a Navy setting in Hawaii.

You'll work with various people inside and outside the organization to make these programs effective and suggest improvements based on what works best.

It's a good fit for someone with experience in social sciences who enjoys coordinating teams and focusing on community health and safety.

Key Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience at GS-11 level or equivalent in federal, private, or public sector
  • Knowledge of social sciences applied to integrated prevention programs for evaluation, consultation, and advising
  • Experience conducting prevention activities to address destructive behaviors and promote a healthy climate

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.

Conducting effective prevention program activities to prevent destructive/problematic behaviors and promote healthy climate; 3.

Leading collaborative efforts with diverse internal and external stakeholders and foster buy-in for crosscutting efforts to include senior leader support and advocacy; 4.
