Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team to analyze costs, schedules, and performance for naval air weapons projects, using methods like earned value management to ensure projects stay on track.

It requires supervising engineers and analysts, solving technical issues, and briefing leaders on progress.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Industrial Engineer or Operations Research Analyst in the Systems Acquisition Group, Costs and Schedule Analysis Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) or pay band DP-04 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional SUPERVISORY INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER OR OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST performing duties such as: 1) Applying knowledge of the concepts, principles, and methods of earned value, contractor schedule analysis, and government schedule development for air weapons systems/subsystems and acquisition strategies; 2) Providing overall technical direction and leadership to multi-disciplined teams and coordinating functions between various groups to complete earned value, contractor schedule analysis, and government schedule development products; 3) Communicating earned value, contractor schedule analysis, and government schedule development briefs at various leadership levels.

  • You will maintain working knowledge of the latest operations research or industrial engineering theories, methods, and techniques associated specifically with Earned Value Management (EVM) and related professional disciplines.
  • You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
