As a Supervisory Immigration Services Analyst, you will direct analysts performing a wide range of analytical and records management functions related to processing immigration and citizenship benefits ensuring regulations and policies are observed.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/27/2026.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.

The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/27/2026.

GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the following duties: Providing technical and administrative supervision to a staff of analysts engaged in programs administering the data analysis and quality assurance functions.

Coordinating and directing the accomplishment of difficult and diverse functions or issues. Analyzing and implementing issues related to the establishment of program goals and objectives.

Establishing long-range work plans and determining the actions necessary to accomplish these objectives.

  • Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within the National Benefits Center and are assigned based on the need of the agency.
  • Supervise a team of Immigration Services Analysts responsible for performing a wide range of analytical functions related to achieving production and quality goals in the processing of immigration and citizenship benefits requests from applicants.
  • Provide technical and administrative supervision to their team, develop and prescribe procedures and techniques, and furnish policy guidance to subordinates.
  • Collaborate with fellow supervisors and center management concerning quality file management and production issues.
  • Provide contract operations oversight to ensure compliance with performance requirements.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of administrative and analytical techniques and methods resolving complex and unusual issues referred by others.
  • Establish and carry out specific action plans for accomplishing short-term goals and objectives.
