Base salary range: $41,966 - $54,557

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to handle military personnel matters, such as promotions, assignments, and retirements, while solving problems and using data systems to support Navy recruiting in Miami.
It's a supervisory role where you'll create guidelines for staff, write policies, and research past records to improve processes.
A good fit would be someone with experience in HR for military or government settings, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly to leaders.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MIL) of NAVAL RECRUITING DISTRICT MIAMI.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Developing solutions to military personnel programs issues; 2) Managing personnel actions (e.g., awards, promotions, schools, assignments, retirements and separations) in support of military personnel program management; 3) Utilizing military personnel data systems in support of military personnel programs; and 4) Preparing and presenting correspondence, reports and briefs to provide information used in decision making.
