Full Job Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Employee Benefits) in the Civilian Benefits Center of OFFICE OF CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing federal civilian benefits program operations to include developing and implementing business processes in support of an organization's strategic workforce plan.

  • You will serve as a Benefits Division Head for the Department of Navy Civilian Benefit Center.
  • You will plan, develop, direct and administer a comprehensive Benefits Program.
  • You will plan work requirements and staffing needs.
  • You will provide expert advice and guidance on specific operations assuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
  • You will manage production and accuracy, reviewing workload completion and training of subordinate staff.
  • You will conduct program evaluation and assessment and implement process improvement.
  • You will participate in high level meetings to strategize on the handling of key initiatives.
  • You will supervise a staff of Branch Heads, Human Resources Specialists and Human Resources Assistants.
