This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel in the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Campbell, KY.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Assists in the management of unaccompanied housing to include furnishings; 2) Executes sustainment plans by analyzing housing data to prepare related reports, briefs, and charts; 3) Conducts property inspections to assess adequacy and habitability.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS- 11). Major Duties:

• Provides technical Unaccompanied Housing (UH) and Furnishings Management housing expertise and assistance to Garrison Commander/Manager and other installation staff in representing Department of the Army (DA), IMCOM, and garrison objectives.
• Responsible for broad management functions with the planning, management, administration and implementation of the technical and administrative operations of the Unaccompanied Housing (UH), Furnishings Management housing programs.
• Develops garrison policies for all aspects of housing programs.
• Reviews, evaluates, and interprets, Department of Defense (DoD), DA, and IMCOM policies and procedures, developing and recommending guidance required to provide sufficient criteria for accomplishment of the mission goals/assignments.
