Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-12. Expert-level knowledge in field.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of engineers to oversee the design, development, and upgrades of submarine and underwater vehicle systems for the U.S. Navy.
You'll manage technical projects, mentor staff, and work with experts from various organizations to solve complex engineering challenges.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the ADVANCED UNDERSEA SYSTEMS DIVISION of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer managing various engineering disciplines (e.g.
naval, electrical, structural, hydraulic, piping, life support) to develop technical, design, or modernization plans for submarine and submersible systems.
