Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.

Experience managing a budgeting department, with overall responsibility for organizational compliance with auditability milestones and strategic objectives. 2.

Expert-level experience directing the identification of financial root causes and overseeing the implementation of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to remediate material weaknesses across the department.

3. Mastery in managing a department-wide internal control program and validating the integrity of Key Supporting Documents (KSDs) to ensure a complete and auditable Universe of Transactions (UOT). 4.

Experience serving as the primary technical advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic briefings on department-wide audit risks and remediation progress.

  • You will serve as a senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization.
  • You will perform execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs.
  • You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.
  • You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, and recommends corrective action.
  • Supervisory duties include:
  • You will assign work to subordinates based on employee capabilities, priorities and difficulty.
  • You will develop performance standards and evaluate employee performance.
  • You will provide technical and administrative oversight, advice and instruction.
