Entry salary: $88,520 | Full performance (GS-14): up to $135,987

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team in managing budgets and financial planning for naval aircraft programs, including creating cost estimates, interpreting policies, and using specialized software to analyze reports.
A good fit would be someone with strong experience in government or financial budgeting who enjoys supervising others and solving funding challenges in a military context.
You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Comptroller Group.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-04 (GS-13/14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Formulating budget and cost estimates to support plans and programs; 2) Interpreting budgetary policies and practices; 3) Recommending changes in funding and budget plans to resolve critical problems; 4) Utilizing a Navy- ERP financial management system to extract, analyze and interpret business and financial reports and; 5) Leading team members in the accomplishment of work to ensure quality work products and services.
