In addition to the basic entry education requirements, you must have specialized experience and/or directly related education as described below: To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as providing leadership, oversight or technical expertise for a scientific project or program related to environmental enforcement and compliance assurance; coaching, mentoring, or leading others; establishing and monitoring performance measures to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and progress of a team.
You will need the following competencies in order to perform the duties of this position successfully: Environmental Laws and Regulations Oral Communication* Written Communication Leadership* Organizational Development * Coaching and Developing Others Planning and Evaluating Partnering *You will be evaluated on these critical competencies.

You will: Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the organization unit. Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
Represent the organizational unit and Agency with variety of functional area organizations.
You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
