This job involves leading a team of engineering technicians to oversee construction projects at a naval shipyard in Washington, focusing on managing quality, safety, and timelines to keep everything on track and within budget.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the NAVFAC Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC) Puget of NAVFAC NORTHWEST in support of the Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program (SIOP).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Directing and managing engineering personnel providing construction management, construction contract technical support, and site management on projects; 2) Performing quality assurance on construction projects; 3) Utilizing various construction practices and procedures; 4) Reviewing plans and coordinating with stakeholders; 5) Resolving technical issues and ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget; and 6) Utilizing computer systems and related accessories.
