You will serve as a SUPERVISORY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Emergency Management Office of US NAVAL AIR FACILITY ATSUGI ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.
Please see Additional Information section below.*** Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing emergency program oversight and emergency program management to include mitigating emergency events and conducting hazard assessments.

- You will be responsible for Emergency Management activities and operations across all five phases of Emergency Management: preparedness, mitigation, prevention, response and recovery.
- You will develop and maintain the Installation Emergency Management (EM) plan through a continuous annual cycle of planning, training, testing, and revising EM procedures.
- You will identify hazards and determine their relative probability of occurrence and associated consequence factors.
- You will provide supervision and oversight of the installation EM command and control function to include the development, organization, staff training and effective operation of the installation’s Emergency Operations Center.
- You will develop an annual EM Training Plan which schedules the necessary training and annual all hazards exercise event to test EM plans and procedures.
