Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading emergency management efforts at a U.S. Navy base in Japan, overseeing everything from planning and training to responding to and recovering from potential disasters.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Emergency Management Office of US NAVAL AIR FACILITY ATSUGI ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing emergency program oversight and emergency program management to include mitigating emergency events and conducting hazard assessments.
