This position is part of the Government Publication Sales, Government Publishing Office in Pueblo, CO.

To qualify for the Supervisory Distribution Facilities Specialist, PG-2030-14, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the PG-13 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent that includes: Leading distribution or logistics operations; managing inventory and other management systems; participating in budget planning or execution; and providing technical or supervisory leadership in a warehousing, distribution, or logistics environment.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement (02/25/2026) to be considered.

Major Duties:

  • Develop and implement economically sound warehousing and distribution policies, procedures, and workflow processes.
  • Oversee the creation and employment of websites and web order pages, contact/call center operations, facilities management, safety programs, engineering of workflow processes, environmental services, and community relations.
  • Interpret, implement, formulate administrative and managerial policies of the business unit.
  • Direct and coordinate the development of contracts for storing and distributing tangible Federal Government information products including maintenance and equipment contracts.
  • Establish workflow and methods, overall goals, and standards to meet and support the mission of the Government Publishing Office (GPO).
